At our Homecoming event on Saturday, September 9th, the Rev. J.D. Walt shared this quote: “Why not be changed into fire? There is so much at stake and we are just sitting in the pews!” 

Missions and Disaster Relief provide an opportunity for us to get out of our pews and be transformed into fire for Jesus. By helping clean up debris, rake yards, and tarp homes we provide a tangible witness of God’s love and grace for those who may be unchurched, lost, or isolated. There is so much at stake and so many who need to know the saving grace of Christ.  

Please join us as we continue to serve in the Live Oak area. We welcome teams as well as individual volunteers. We have housing available at the church with showers and meals provided. Click here to register.   We’ve had multiple teams already join us and are helping families recover.
