CERTIFIED LAY MINISTER (CLM)

“Certified Lay Ministers (CLMs) in the Global Methodist Church differ from lay ministers in our previous denomination. All lay ministers are now called “Certified Lay Ministers,” with no separate categories. CLMs are Christian lay leaders who serve in the church, the workplace, and the community. We envision CLMs not only providing leadership within the church but also serving as “missionaries/evangelists” of the Gospel in the wider community.

One of the purposes of our conference is: “Equipping churches and leaders includes increasing vitality and effectiveness to make disciples of Jesus Christ.”

We are offering the CLM Training Course with this purpose in mind. We have assembled the best instructors for the course because we want our CLMs to be fully equipped and trained to respond to the call God has placed on their lives and to become the best ministers, leaders, and evangelists possible.

CLM training follows a two-year cycle, and all classes are offered via Zoom.”
