Rev. Vicki Harrison
Rev. Vicki Harrison
Presiding Elder, Gulf South District
With a background in clinical social work and public health, Vicki’s route to ministry has not been conventional. She was initially ordained as a deacon in the UMC, focusing almost exclusively on missions and ministry with the disadvantaged. But God began to call her to something new (as God has a tendency to do!) and she made the decision to transfer her orders to elder. She has served at New Hope Church in Brandon, Florida, in various roles for seventeen years, building strong roots in the Brandon community. She has been senior pastor at New Hope since June of 2021. Vicki is incredibly excited to be part of the Global Methodist Church with its emphasis on evangelism and revival in the local church, two of her passions.
Vicki has been married to Richard for almost thirty years and they have three amazing young adult children, Daniel, Rosie, and Sam.
